These children were orphans, going to live and work with families on a newly colonized planet. The trip there took months, and me and several other pilots rotated in and out of suspended sleep in order to pilot.

Anyways, the ship wakes me up in emergency state, because the ship has been damaged and is crash landing. The pilots who were supposed to be awake, I find dead, as I hurry to try and keep the ship in the air. I inevitably fail, but our landing is softened by our efforts enough that I, and the other reserve pilots, are unharmed. As soon as we can, we go to check on our precious cargo, of sleeping children.

Only to find their suspension pods empty. Somebody has stolen the children. A frantic search of the ship reveals that we were docked onto something and broken into, causing the ship damage, while we were in stasis. Somebody has kidnapped them.

In the dream-logic fashion, I begin to have memories of something like this happening before. Hearing noises on the ship, we hunt them down, and find one of the kids, who was frail and weaker than the others, hiding. After talking to him he reveals that aliens took the other kids, leaving him behind (because he was too weak?)

And in pure protagonist fashion, I remember that when I was a child, I was abducted by aliens (played by Predators in my dream, because my brain was apparently feeling a touch uncreative) to be used in sporting games against their own young children, like baiting dogs in a dogfighting ring. But instead, I had managed to survive long enough for a different clan of aliens who were just not cool with the whole "kids killing kids" thing to notice, and they stole me back and placed me back on Earth. I think. It was a little vague.

Anyways, the dream ended in completely badass fashion, with me saying something along the lines of "I know where these bastards are, and they're not going to hurt the children under my care."

And then I woke up.

Would this be good Predators fanfiction y/n?

Other dreams recently include having the superpower to destroy people's innocence at a touch, and barfing clouds of maggots that whizzed through the air, eating everything they came into contact with.

Hey Guys

I found a meme in a text file on my desktop. Dunno where it's from. I have added an analysis of the songs underneath them in italics.

MOVIE MEME
If you made a movie, what would it's soundtrack be like? Put your MP3 player on random and fill this out to find out!
OPENING CREDITS
Party Hard - Andrew W.K.
Best opening ever. So hardcore. WHEN ITS TIME TO PARTY WE WILL ALWAYS PARTY HARD PARTY HARD PARTY HARD PARTY HARD
WAKING UP
Dragon Rider - Two Steps From Hell
Epic opening, too!
SOMETHING NEW HAPPENS
No More Films - 28 Days Later
Well, crap, that's twenty kinds of ominous
FALLING IN LOVE
Fury - Metropolis OST
...what the fuck? I'm gonna just go out on a limb here and say that the protagonist falls in love with the antagonist, from this.
SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS
Manta Squadron - Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow OST
I don't really have a comment. This is awesome fight music.
FIGHT
Totenkopf's Ark - Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow OST
Haha, coincidentally...this is very ominous, subtle music. Not very fight-y, but I'll assume protagonist is getting their ass kicked.
ESCAPE
Uepeker I - Ookami OST
Very peaceful? Must be thinking deeply about it.
BREAKDOWN
Don Abandons Alice - 28 Weeks Later
...fitting, to say the least.
FLASHBACK
Tokyo Game Show 2004 Promotion - Ookami OST
So very cheerful! Must be a very upbeat flashback, probably involving kids or training or something.
ROMANCE
Past the Point of No Return - Phantom of the Opera
...Oh, yeah. Definately a protagonist/antagonist relationship here. Srsly.
SOMETHING GOOD HAPPENS
Big Bar Fight - Firefly OST
Ahahaha. AHhahaha. Hah. YEAH.
CONFRONTATION
Technologic - Daft Punk
What? Dude, are there robots? AWESOME.
FINAL BATTLE
Visions - Unbreakable OST
Wow. Dramatic to the maximum here. Seriously.
DRAMATIC DEATH
Show Me Love (Extended Version) - TATU
...Epic deathbed hatefuck?
EPILOGUE
Uepeker II - Ookami OST
Oh hey! Full circle from the escape scene. Must be similar in text and scene. Awesome.
END CREDITS
Seven Deadly Sins - Flogging Molly
Another perfect party song. It wasn’t the sticky, unpleasant fear-tainted awakening she’d been having latterly, but she was still jerked to wakefulness by something beyond her dreams. Struggling to her feet, she clutched at the bathroom counter to pull herself up, head throbbing miserably, the light in the bathroom seeming far too bright.

She had a vague memory of struggling, and of cold metal in her hands, and the sensation of losing control of her body, but at the moment the fever-heat burning in her skin and sound of rushing water in her ears was too overwhelming to focus in on those faint ghosts of memories. Resting her head against the cool marbletop of her counter, she closed her eyes and grumbled.

Then it occurred to her that the sound of rushing water wasn’t just in her ears.

Her tub was overflowing.

“Aw, shit-“ She started, moving to turn off the bathtub’s faucet. “…Aw, shit!” She shrieked, when turning to the tub found her facing herself, quite literally. “No! No no no!” She screamed, grabbing the edge of the tub. Her body slouched back in the warm water, still flowing, the toaster resting at her feet.

She had to admit, it was a rather strange scene, once she finished screaming and trying to pull her own body from the tub (an endeavor which proved ultimately impossible). Laying back in the tub, fully clothed, eyes forever closed up at the ceiling. After taking a few seconds to calm down, Ava could even find the scorching on the wall around the plug, where the toaster had shorted itself out, and looked over the red burns on her legs.

“…I’m dead.” She finally whispered, to herself, letting the realization sink in for quite a few silent minutes, staring at herself. “…That sucks.” An astute observation.

Just as she was wondering how long she’d been laying there, and how long she’d be left there, she heard a banging on the door. The super! Of course, the owner of the apartments would have thought something was strange if the water was running for long enough to flood the bathroom. “I’m in here!” She shouted. “Mister Atkinson, I’m in he- oh, damn it. Can’t hear me, can you?!”

He couldn’t.

“Miss Phillips?! You had better open this door!” He shouted. His keys rattled in the lock, and she jogged out to the living room, listening to him mutter to himself as he struggled to get the door open. “Probably left the tub on and left. Feh! Irresponsible little girl. Never should have let her take the apartment.”

“Yeah, well I never cared much for you either.” She snarked as he finally got the sticking door handle to turn.

“…Miss Phillips?” He entered, and she decided that she didn’t care much to see someone discover her own body, sitting on the couch and crossing her arms, wondering absently if there was going to be a bright light any time soon. “Oh my God! Miss Phillips! Ava!” Mr. Atkinson shouted. She heard splashing and the water turning off, and frowned to herself as he pulled out his cell phone, coming to watch from the bathroom door.

She didn’t like him, but that didn’t mean that she wanted him to go through the trauma of finding a dead tenant.

“Hello? 911? One of my tenants- I just found her in the bathtub! With a toaster!” Ava winced and closed her eyes, trying to block out what he was saying. What happened, she wondered, thinking back to the previous day.

Her body! It had killed her!

That son of a bitch! “That son of a bitch!” She thought, then shouted.

“Yes, she’s still breathing-“

Pulled from her thoughts, she suddenly turned her attention to Mr. Atkinson on the phone. “Wait! What?!”

“I can feel a pulse in her neck.”

“What?!” Ava knelt by herself, staring hard. How had she not noticed? Her breathing was shallow, but it was there, her chest rising and falling steadily, and she wasn’t blanched or soggy, like she would have expected a dead body in water to be. She was alive! “Yes! Thank you, God!” She whooped. Maybe this was all some fluke! An ambulance would come by, revive her, and she’d be back in business!

Who knows? She thought to herself. Maybe this is just what happens during a near death experience. Wouldn’t that be something? I hope I remember this, I could write a book about it!

“Ava, Miss Phillips, don’t worry, there will be people here soon.” Mr. Atkinson told her body, while Ava paced nearby, near-ecstatic with relief. Things went fast from there on out. She climbed on top of the stretcher the EMTs strapped her onto, and watched as they went to work around her in the ambulance. From there to the hospital, things seemed rather…boring, listening to doctors discuss her medical history, watching as they poked and prodded her body (which, according to them, was in fine working order, she was just unconscious) and waiting, eagerly, to be returned to her physical form.

The eagerness began to fade after several hours in a quiet hospital room, sitting beside the bed and awkwardly watching the nurse change her catheter bag. With no-one to make small talk to, the ghost thing was quickly starting to get a little uncomfortable.

“…Screw this, I’ll be back in a bit, Ava.” She told her unresponsive body, giving herself a pat on the head. “I’ve gotta stretch my legs.” Slipping out through the open door, she found herself in a quiet hospital wing, near-empty except for a few nurses and the occasional doctor. A cursory examination of the nearby walls found her a chart for visiting hours and a clock. Doing a bit of mental math, she figured that she’d fried herself almost a full 24 hours ago.

“…How long do you think you have to be unconscious for it to count as a coma?” She asked a passing nurse, who walked right past her without the slightest notice. “Yeah, I thought so.” Ava looked back at the clock with a frown, wondering when this was going to be over with, before she heard her mother’s familiar voice.

“Room 354…356…357! Oh, my Ava!” She hurried back to the room, finding that her mother had already taken up residence at her bedside, holding her hand, looking utterly miserable. Her father, a more reserved man, simple took a seat in the room and frowned. “Oh, I knew something was wrong with you, I just knew it! After those things you said, I looked up your condition on the internet, and I bet it was stress and depression and oh…my poor baby!” Her mother started to babble on and on, and Ava smiled.

Then, her body twitched, fingers curling around her mother’s hand.

“…yes…yes!” Ava cheered, hurrying to her own bedside. “Yes!” She closed her eyes tight and waited to feel solid flesh again, ready for it. If anything had been learned from this brief, horrible experience, it was that she really enjoyed being alive. Ava took in a deep breath, waiting.

And waiting.

And waiting.

“…Wh…who are you?” She cracked open an eye at the sound of her own voice, expectant smile replaced by a frown, and looked down at herself. Her body was awake, looking around weakly, and pulling it’s hand away from her mother’s. “…Where…where am I? Who are you?” It asked.

Ava stared as the nurses hurried in to help her body, completely at a loss for words or thoughts, before she did the only thing she could think to do. She slumped to her knees, thrust her arms at her body, and screamed.

“NOOOOOOOOO!”

The Unfortunate Ghostification of Ava Phillips - Prologue

Ava was not suicidal.

Which is why it occurred to her as very odd that her body was attempting to drop the toaster in the bathtub.

“No!” She shouted, trying to will her arms to put the device on the floor beside the tub, and her arms betrayed her, like things possessed, shaking as they struggled to maneuver the appliance into the water. The jerking, dangerous struggle went back and forth between Ava and her body, and Ava wondered if it was possible to be murdered by your own body.

Maybe it was.

This had been a very, very strange day, after all.

Perhaps some explanation was in order.

Ava Phillips had woken up that morning from the same nightmare she’d been having for months, a full hour before her alarm was set to go off. Grumpy and sleep deprived, and unable to remember what sort of dream it was that had her wake early and covered with a film of cold sweat, she had gone to get herself some coffee, and instead of bringing the cup to her lips, her arms has spontaneously begun to shake and jerk, spilling the burning liquid all down her front.

The rest of the day had gone downhill from there. At odd moments her hands reached out without her permission or command and done things inappropriate or dangerous, from sticking themselves out of the subway doors as the door was closing, to slapping a man she was on the elevator with (that had been awkward to try and explain). From there, her legs had tried to jump her off a balcony, and had tripped her down the stairs (a tumble cut short by collision with others).

By the time she returned home from work, she’d come to the conclusion that her body was rebelling, and had called her mother to tell her so. Of course, her mother was only so much help, insisting that all Ava needed was to relax in the bathtub and perhaps take some time off work, it must have been stress, after all. Ava’s mouth responded by (to her horror) telling the older woman to do many horribly unpleasant and unsanitary things.

So Ava went to take a bath, and found herself rather confused when she was standing in the bathtub, water running around her legs, holding a plugged-in-toaster as opposed to the lavender bubble bath she’d bought and had been saving since last year’s lonely Valentine’s Day.

“Oh, no.”

She breathed in deep, trying to force herself to throw the toaster away from the bath.

Her body didn’t listen, and finally, her shaking fingers released the toaster. The kitchen appliance seemed to fall forever, and Ava thought to herself.

What an awful waste to be killed by a toaster. Could this be worse?

To her brief surprise, something else that wasn’t her answered her own thought.

Yes.

What the fu-

And then she thought no more.

Chapter One

Heroes

Today, I talked about heroes.

Barry: I was never really a fan of Heroes so I wouldn't know lol

Me: Don't be. The first season is really good, I mean, it's your best friend in freshman year. You both love comic books and humor and weird comic plots, and awesome lines for villains, so you get along great. You're the best of friends through all of freshman year, and then comes summer, and you're really looking forwards to seeing Heroes again next fall in school.

And next fall you can tell that something's changed, subtly, but you don't quite get it at first. You still have good times together, but it seems a little condescending sometimes, and rude. They've started hanging out with new friends and you're never quite invited, so you can hang around but you're really awkward and they make fun of you. Suddenly at the end of your sophmore year, they punch you in the gut, breaking your heart, call you a nerd, and then shove you in a locker.

Junior year, they try to be freinds with you again out of some long-forgotten respect, and perhaps a longing to go back again, but they cave to peer pressure and start ostracizing you again. Eventually they take out their rage on you by molesting you in the lockers after gym one day, and never mentioning again, and even though it felt kind of good the guilt of enjoying it is killing you because of how terrible they are.

Senior year, they're not in school. They've gone straight to juvie, supposedly for underage lesbian porn or something like that, maybe killing a man, and you lost contact with them alltogether. You go off and find new friends, and then one day your hear, secondhand, that they've been killed (cancelled) in juvinall hall. But, yet, despite all those great times you've had, you just can't work up any emotions for them. You feel nothing about their death, and you move on, like they were never there.

Until No Ordinary Family starts, at least.

SATURDAY

I hate Saturdays. Or a video game. Edited for content.

The dream starts off with me switching between my life and universe, and finding myself in the body of another person in an alternate universe. While I am in this alternate universe, I know that I am not this young man, but I cannot remember who I am until I switch back. With time, me and the man realize that we are swapping bodies and realities periodically, and begin to find ways to communicate. We explore each other's realities, finding others like us, and sometimes managing to swap bodies with them.

Over time, we realize that this vastly powerful wizard/monster/robot? thing had split the world into a number of separate realities, dividing each person and the world's power so that noone could ever be powerful enough to overtake him/it, the only "whole" being in the world. But it just so happened that individuals it came into contact with, such as me and the man, became 'linked' through it.

There was a really cool part there about how all these individuals were linked, strung together like a spiderweb across the multiverse. It was really cool.

Anyways, we all bonded together in order to bring together a full scale assault on him, simultaneously in all universes. It was very trippy. As in, like, one second you'd be watching modern military forces firing upon it with M-16s, and the next you'd be seeing knights in armor slinging magic arrows at it. THe same people, the same thing, just split into a dozen different versions, all being pulled closer and closer together.

In the end, though, those of us who came together to fight found ourselves lost, unable to come together with the rest of our 'whole' selves. Through his touch that had linked us together, he had made us the unfitting pieces, which could not be rejoined to the greater multidimensional puzzle. It blew. But hey, we got to explore new places.

Other worthwhile parts of the dream involved a chase scene on top of a huge steampunk train with centipede legs, that was the width of a ballroom, stacked with cargo of all sorts, and some trippy ass fight scenes. THere also was a part involving talking to ducks at a duck pond.

That was the best dream

Last night I dreamt that I was one of dozens of graffitti taggers hired by Lex Luthor to go around Metropolis, using kryptonite-infused paint in order to gradually weaken Superman just by his mere presence in the city.

And then I woke up and was disappointed that THIS COMIC DOESN'T EXIST BECAUSE IT IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA.

Gotta Write Dreams Down Sooner

Ffff the dreams are partially gone but I can kinda remember them. THe more recent one first.

There is a game called SIEGE in which players enter virtual reality, form teams, build castles, choose weapons, and then try to take over each other's castles. The two teams are red and blue, and I (or somebody I keep being) is on the red team. THe red team, however, starts to cheat, and I pledge a secret loyalty to the blue team. There is a great battle, and the blue team is overtaken, the royal family (who must be killed in order to win) barricading themselves inside the castle. While they are hiding, I go to the red castle and find the royalty. I assassinate them, tearing off my red tunic to reveal by blue knight's armor.

It is totally awesome and visually stunning. I'm sure ther ewas more to this dream.

Next dream, from a while ago.

There are people who go to "Hell" in order to hunt rogue souls or stray demons. I have clearly watched too much Kekkashi. Anyways, the descent to hell is fast and rough, and once there these unique people have the ability to manipulate the landscape toa small degree, although it drains their energy to do so. Cue epic demon fights while tossing literal lakes and mountains at things. Woo.

Dream Writings 3

More bizarre dreams.

1
First up, we have the alien adoption. I don't remember much about this one. We've gone to war with some spacefaring race, and wound up winning. Unfortunately, we find that they were invading in a last, desperate hope that they could colonize the earth, before their failing spacecraft finally died and killed off the last of their species.

Many aliens have died in the war, leaving behind a mothership full of eggs and children, their captive, docile queen helpless.

Humans, being the bleeding hearts that we are, decide that the thing to do is allow adoptions of the aliens into loving families. My own home is chosen, much to my delight, and I begin to raise my alien daughter alongside Ophelia. I don't remember the rest of the dream, other than some vague stuff about riding on top of trains and attempting to get rid of a hornet's nest in the bathroom. OH DREAMS.

2
Dream #2 was the cool one. I've moved to the city for some reason or other, and have moved into an apartment with a man seeking a roomate. I arrive early in the day, instead of at night when I'd planned, and can't seem to find him, although he seems to have left his dog in the apartment. It's a sweet dog, wolflike, well trained, and I don't think much of it. But that night, as it turns out, is the night of the full moon.

And the wolf is actually a werehuman.

Embarrassed, he explains the situation to me, but I'm cool with it. We open up an art store together and spend quite a bit of time observing humanity. He teaches me about werehumans in the process. Its weird.

Anyways both of these seem like pretty hip short story ideas. I could really expand on either one of them. Males have big ones, females have lil' ones. Males also tend to be larger and more structured in stature, with thicker tails.

Because aliens shoudl be a little pudgy now and then too.

Color testing from before I decided to just make 'em patternful.

Fantasy Verse - The Blind Faun

NSFW MONSTERGIRL BOOBIES UNDER THE CUT

You know things are good when there's monstergirls.

T

The Blind Faun

Her first winter alone had been a harsh one. Like a movie set, or zoo enclosure. They're hideous aliens, inhuman, more like sea anemone or types of plants and coral and nudibrances. We try to reason with them to no avail, they don't come near us, and we don't go near them.

They leave food for us, at routine times and places, and sometimes just stand on top of the house they've given us to watch us. We couldn't reach them if we tried. One day, they approach us with food, and offer it to us. We avoid them and hide or go around them, but there's no other food. Somebody says that they won't stoop so low as to accept food from them, and finally some of us venture forth to take the food. They don't seem to react much, but let us take the food and eat. Occasionally, something in our enclosure is replaced. A tree is replaced with a massive, passively swaying feathered thing, we surmise that it's an alien plant. One day, when we wake, the grass is red and purple.

This continues. They come to feed us. Some of the group is growing resentful, though. One of them who refuses to take food nearly starves to death, and one night they take him away. Another one decides to try and attack the alien, force it to let us free. They disappear as soon as they touch. We don't see either of them again. Same for a girl who has a breakdown and refuses to move, and another man who tries to break down the walls of the enclosure. Two women get into a fierce fight out of desperation, and both of them are removed by aliens who appear abruptly and drag them off.

Finally, one day, the alien who feed what remains of our group pats me on the head when I take the food. It's hand is soft and feels like velvet, with little anemone-like palps on the fingers. I'm too stunned to react, and just take my food and go. Most of us do the same, although some duck away or grab their food and run.

In our spare time, we play games to occupy ourselves. We throw around a frisbee, play hide and seek, exercise together, it keeps us sane. There's supplies in the house to do other things, such as draw and write, and there's books to read. The television plays video games, but none of us play the strange games. We also talk a lot, and try to figure out what's happening. Some of us think that we're prisoners, or hostages, that the aliens invaded or attacked and are holding us for some reason or another. One woman claims that we're a science experiment. Like putting caterpillars in a jar. I think that we're in a zoo, with the aliens observing us somehow, getting us acclimated to their planet.

Still more of us disappear for unspoken reasons. One day the aliens come and interact with us. We can't understand their fluttering language and the way their tentacle-covered heads flicker with iridescent colors, but we try to listen anyways. The last few of our group to leave are the people who are fed up, and try to aggress our captors, fighting them or throwing things from a distance. Only me and a few others are left. Some of us are passive in nature, while others are just too stunned or scared to react to the aliens.

There's only five of us. We started with nearly twenty, and now we're at a quarter of our original numbers. The aliens come and interact with us regularly, sometimes playing games with us, or just observing us. One of them brings a large pan filled wtih blue stones. Some of them are simple stones, others are in geometric shapes or tiles, or in abstract curls and swirls, and many of them are shaped like familiar things. Like people, trees, flowers, birds, and cars. We pick out our favorites, before handing them back. It does something we cannot see, and then hands us our stones on a string, like beads.

We wear them.

One day, and alien comes and interacts with two of the remaining people, a couple. The boy and girl hold on tightly to each other, as the alien tries to speak with them. It gestures one of it's massive hands towards the girl's belly repeatedly, and we suddenly come to the conclusion that she's pregnant, after all, they've been sneaking off alone a lot. The alien takes them away, and the remaining three of us sit together and ponder why.

Suddenly, I realize why.

We are not in a zoo, or some kid's experimental jar. Our environment is entirely alien now, we have adjusted, and we have accepted the aliens as benevolent and friendly. We do what they direct us to, take food from them, and return their affection in kind.

And we wear the beads around our neck, like tags.

We are pets. Being selectively taken and bred for docility and obediance.

This realization is horrifying at first, but there's nothing to do about it.

Finally, an alien, smaller than any other I've seen, no bigger than me, comes. We play a game of Go Fish together, where we match cards with large, colorful symbols, and it pats me on the head with it's soft hand, and everything fades out. I am being taken to a new home, with a new owner.

It could be worse.

Then I wake up.

Story Seeding in the City of Angels

Except I don't want it to take place in LA because I don't know anything about LA.

Story Seed time! First, some background information on the concept; but if you want to get right to the idea, you can go down to the jump.

Between Heaven and Hell, there is Earth. And it is upon Earth that the greatest beings walk - Mortals, complete with undying, unending souls, energy that powers life itself. This energy in all things, makes Earth rife with power and thriving with those trying to get a chunk of that power for themselves. That being said, Angels and Demons, the inhabitants of Heaven and Hell, go to Earth for one of two reasons.

1. To become mortals, and live. Angels and Demons are imperfect, compared to Humans, in that Humanity can truly and freely pick it's own options and make it's own destiny. Nothing controls a human if they don't want to be controlled, wheras Angels and Demons are ruled over by hierarchies of power.
and
2. To remains as Angels and Demons, in order to do what they do best.

For Angels, that means inspiring, loving, growing, tending, saving, blah blah blah all that fun stuff. Although Angels aren't all "good" by our terms. Angels are also present in warfare and death.Ultimately, Angels are worried about the other person. They are creatures of a greater good, and they seek to preserve life in all it's entirety. Angels are more or less locked in the amount of members there are. More Angels can be made out of love and dreams and whatever, but more often a new Angel is simply generated whenever another angel is taken out of the picture.

For Demons, that means stealing, seducing, and controlling. You get the picture, and like Angels, Demons are not all "bad" by our terms. They can also be charitable and kind, provided that there's a payout for them in the end. Demons are ultimately self-centered and a little bit pitiable in their greed. Demons breed and spawn and produce more and more of their members all the time, often using humans as breeding stock or even tricking humans into raising their spawn like cuckoo birds. Fortunately, they also have a high enough turnover rate from their violent nature that their population tends to stabilize.

Earth, though, is a middle ground. Despite what most think, Heaven and Hell cannot see everything upon Earth, far from it in fact. So Heaven and Hell's upper management have to rely upon what they know from Angels and Demons and other such things for the latest news.

Of course, "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy" so Angels and Demons aren't the only things wandering around Earth. Earth has it's own host of creatures that don't necessarily belong to heaven or hell (although some of them can wander to one place or the other on their own, or to even stranger places) including, and not limited to, therianthropes of all sorts, vampires, monsters, ghosts, and more or less your standard Monster Squad crew.

And now, under the cut, the actual Story Seed.

Angels leaving to Earth to become mortal is no strange thing, but when a woman who was formerly a very powerful Angel is murdered, a rather young and naive Angel (who was generated when the more powerful angel left), somewhat confused and disturbed by the concept of a death, takes it upon herself to find the reason behind the woman's death, traveling to Earth.
Meanwhile, on Earth, a Detective (who is also an atheist, as his wife's(?) death destroyed his faith) is investigating the murder of an artistic, well-loved woman (our murdered Angel). When the evidence doesn't match up, he does some extra digging, and finds himself on the wrong side of group of vampires hired to clean up anything that could lead back to the murderer.
After a brief scuffle in the dead woman's apartment, a being of light and beauty saves him.

From there on, it becomes a buddy cop movie involving Demons, Angels, a plot to destroy Heaven, vampires stealing angelic blood to become mortal again, and shenanigans.

Cute Ophelia Picture

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; Their founding members were Wolverine, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Silver Fox, Fantomex, Kestrel, Kane, Mastodon, Maverick, and Deadpool.

<u2:p></u2:p>But ignore half those guys for now because I'm still figuring out what we do with them, so, onwards we move to Wolverine, Silver Fox, and Sabretooth.

<u2:p></u2:p>Wolverine is, of course, the one everybody wants to hear of. So guess what kids. It’s storytime.

<u1:p></u1:p>

<u1:p></u1:p>The Badger, the Tiger, the Woman, and the Fox, Design session

Wolverine, Wolverine, what am I going to do with you. I presume, like all good times, you keep to yourself.

Wolverine is tricky in the fact that I don't want him to be Lone Wolf and Cub. He's not a wanderer here, a bladesmith maybe. He keeps to himself, doesn't leave. Nobody knows where he came from, nobody is certain of what or who he is. Rumors abound in the village- some claim that he's a forest spirit, or monkey god (he totally has monkey hair. Seriously.), or transformed badger, or what-have-you, although I assume that it'd be hinted he's a noble birth.

As for what he is...well...mutants aren't exactly "mutants" in RtMU. More on that later.

Anyways, he comes with your standard array of Wolverine-powers, which the village loves to gossip about. He's got the senses of a wolf, he heals like nothing alive should, blah blah blah.

Argh those motherfucking claws.

I hate you claws

haet

I'm still working on those. I mean, I love the claws, they're iconic and all, but working them in with him at this point...just doesn't mesh with me. So for now, I'll say that here, where the story of wolverine begins, he denies them. He is trying to live a wholly human life, and one based around making pointy things for other people to stab folk with, at that. He hides them, retracts them, prefers that noone see them.

He has a gentle, sweet wife, Itsu. Itsu fell hard in love with him after he defended her from bandits or something. Whatever.

Itsu will also get knocked up with Daken later.

Yes, I hate Daken with a passion, but I love remaking characters even more, so this should be good.

Wolverine, int he meantime, though, would prefer to be left alone to his own life. To live with his wife and forge in peace. But, that would make for one boring story...and he's a very noble man. Very strong-hearted, brave, and very willing to fight for what he knows is right. So whenever something threatens his village or those around him, it starts to fall to him to be the hero. And that attracts the attention of

Sabretooth. God, how I love you.

A wandering mercenary, Sabretooth is a man to be feared. Tall, pale-haired, with muscles anybody can damn well sense under his heavy robes, he's feral and makes no effort to hide his...peculiarities. Whatever happens, it brings Wolverine and Sabretooth together as comrades and peers, fighting off the same enemy, and forging them into brothers. Sabretooth is something of a mystery, though. He sleeps outdoors, he pays no attention to many (although he is, of course, inhumanly perceptive to everything) and is quite clearly no simple, plain man.

And as our intrepid Wolverine would deduct, no man, to boot.

Behold the return of Female Sabretooth. The greatest RP-made AU villain ever.

ahem

And as things happen, word of them draws more and more attention from a strange crowd.

Silver Fox is almost too easy to remake into a young kitsune. Still mortal, a servant of the moon, the Silver Fox is a spirit and a fighter who takes a liking to these two, and their adventures as they continue. Of course, the Weapon X crew get pulled in here from all across the globe by the lure of fame, fortune, and strangeness, but at least, for now...it largely circles around Wolverine, Silver Fox, and Sabretooth.

What's in store for them? Love quadrangles, illegitimate children, massive amounts of bloodshed, monsters, steampunk, zombies, murder, and mayhem.

So stay tuned, kids. Sometimes I actually write coherant things.

Sketchdump 001

What what are these things they're everywhere.

Targarra. I'm just going to steal everything from him. Everything.
Anyways, it's be a Japanese school/college that's actually the continuation of an ancient academy wherin children with great gifts would be taught and raised. Now it accepts students from all over the globe, and is run by Professor Xavier.
Bonus points if Wolverine turns out to have been a samurai who was one of the founding members of the institution.
DOUBLE BONUS POINTS - While the western world's classical elements are Fire, Earth, Water, and Air, the Eastern world's classical elements are Fire, Earth, Water, Air, and Metal.Giving Magneto full elemental control over metal.

Fantastic Four
Three words. Brain-damaged celebrities. Reed would have been hired (by who knows. Dr. Doom, maybe?) to find a way to artificially reproduce the superpower-granting abilities of certain cosmic rays, but it would have backfired. Reed would be autistic, maybe? I can't decide if he would be autistic or a chronic egoist. Johnny obviously would be a narcissist with an explosive, fiery temper. Ben Grimm would be very shelled off, hiding his emotions. Probably grew up in a bad way. And Sue Storm woudl be quiet, shy, and possibly schizophrenic. The idea is that their powers woudl all reflect their mental diseases to the extreme.
So that one needs some working on.

Galactus and his Heralds

My brother has informed me that this is actually in canon, as Galactus isn't really a dude in pink space-armor. He just appears in a form that can be comprehended upon by those who look at him. Which means that he actually is a lovecraftian horror. Eats planets, true form causes all sentient beings to go insane, I am hip with that. It's time to

REDESIGN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE

Tonight we'll start by tackling Spider-Man, possibly one of the most iconic superheroes of all time, and possibly the most profitable. My major thoughts for redesigning Spider-Man stem from reading a lot of manga by Tsutomu Nihei lately.

I like to imagine that this comic is about the Venom Symbiote because then it totally makes sense.
Tsutomu Nihei did such fantastic and utterly mind-blowing manga as Abara, BLAME, NOiSE, and of course, Biomega.

Not, in fact, even in the top twenty weirdest scenes from Biomega. Seriously. Beargun is like...maybe fifty or sixty down the list.

Seriously. Go read this stuff.

But a recurring theme in a lot of his work involves bio-technical armor that grows and adapts like it's own living thing, and lets be frank. I am utterly fascinated by that. To a possibly unhealthy degree, but it's given me the seed of inspiration I needed to start this off right. So, we begin this first edition of Redesign the Marvel Universe with

Spider-Man

Peter Parker is a high school student, and that being said, he could use a lot of help in life. Although he is gifted in intelligence and cleverness, he is lacking in physical prowess as well as the confidence needed to make oneself stand out. That is, until a chance trip to a biotech research lab headed by his popular best friend's rich-ass father (Hey look it's the Goblins!) results in something going awry.

Now, linked to a symbiotic biotech armor that he can summon into action at will, giving him fantastic speed, strength, and agility along with incredibly heightened perceptions and endurance, he must find a way to use his newfound responsibility for good, as well as to stop the production of additional biotech horrors that Osborn intends to sell for war profiteering.

All in all, the concept regarding Spider-Man would be one of biotech. Spider-Man's design himself (which I hope to have sketches of soon) would be recognizable, but very...different. There would be a dark blue meshlike or maybe even fine scale-like texture to the skinsuit, although much of this spandex-like layer would be covered by connected, overlapping plates of red, chitenous armor (the sections and overlap would mimic the spiderweb pattern of the original costume to some degree) with darker, larger plates that provide structural support and additional armoring around the chest and back forming a spider-like insignia.

A big, however, would be in the mask, which would consist of large white eyepieces (transluscent lenses) that enhance his vision, and the helmet-like composition of the facial armor would probably leave maybe some of his hair exposed, and from the front would vaguely resemble a spider's mandibles and palps.

And the biggest difference would be that the armor on his back would gather together, and perhaps actually be able to sprout long, thin spiderlike legs to aid him in movement and all that other fun stuff. The trick would be making it seem like the armor's actually alive, in some aspect. It bares some working on.

And now, for some villains, graciously provided by Barry. HI BARRY.

Rhino is probably one of my favorite Spider-Man villains and I'm not sure why. I just love the big and dumb ones. :| Grr.

Biotech armor for this one, TOTALLY. Except like many of the villains, he'd actually be fused with his armor. Like steroids that happen to grow in heavy, armored plates all over your body. Big, ridiculously big guy, of course. Powerful-looking, the sort of build where you can tell that he could've made it big in football. The armor would be heavily plated and possibly a little medieval-looking, and of course bare a lot of resemblance to a rhino's actual tough skin, in that it'd be leathery and pebbled in texture. Two horns on the head, one jutting forth over the bridge of the nose, and a large one curving up slightly over the head, both used to gore and charge.

I imagine that he'd be able to switch between bipedal and quadrupedal locomotion at will, for easier charging and a more beastly fighting style. All in all, he'd be aggressive, dimwitted, maybe even partially blind if I wanted to be a durrhurr about. But he's good at following directions and knocking things (and people) down and out.

Scorpion is the easy one for the night. Chitenous armor, bigass armor covering his arms. The forearms would actually be encased in this heavy, grasping-claws type of armor so that the hands are exposed on the inside, but on the outside all you see are these huge, spiked, nasty-ass lobster claws. There would be a secondary and possibly even two other sets of thin, armor-based limbs down the sides of his body that could extend and grasp or maybe just stab at will. The more pointy bits, the better, so claws on everything. And then the tail...ah, the tail.

The tail would be insane. It'd be long, powerful, extending, prehensile, and have a large, scythe-like blade on the tip that probably drips venom. Or if I really wanted to make him overpowered, acid. You can pretty much see how this would go.

And then...Vulture.

Jesus. Vulture. What the hell am I supposed to do with you.

:|

What the eff.

You know what? I'll save Vulture for next time. Or, if you're feeling particularly daring, tell me what I should do with Vulture.

In the meantime, you should all go read some Abara and take a nap. You could also make yourselves useful and submit some Redesigned Marvel Heroes/Villains to me in the comments, if you need. You don't even need an account to do so!

Agatha Out.

Harry Potter and the Overactive Story Seeding

Random Story Blot - What if Harry Potter had been evil? Perhaps due to luck, or some other circumstances I haven't worked out yet, instead of consuming her brain and turning her into a rage-driven zombie bent on killing all humans (the world was destroyed by aliens, spoiler alert) it instead is nesting inside her chest cavity, having replaced some of her organs. The parasite, due to it's nature, seeks out cold, damp areas and dislikes direct sunlight, heat, and dryness, so it tends to lead her to wells or places where fresh water can be found, thus making her a lifesaver.

Blah blah blah NEXT IDEA.

Nazis riding dinosaurs.
I think that's all that needs to be said about that one.

Uhhh, what else is there.

...

SIGNING OFF.

Gnolls and Beastmen (And Magical Alignments)

Gnolls have always fascinated me. These hyena-hominids are prevalent in fantasy worlds and I rather like them, so I'm going to try to find a spot for them in my own fantasy run.

Gnolls are a species that fall into the category of Mythics I, consisting of four-limbed, typically humanoid-with-animal-traits types, as well as some other odd near-humans. Gnolls come in four distinct varieties, and produce a certain type of beastmen when bred with humanoids.

Common (Spotted) Gnoll are the most prevalent of Gnoll species, easily identified by their dirty yellow-to-brown fur, covered with dark spots and rough manes across their head and back. Living in large nomadic bands, they live in scrubland and wilderness, in groups of ten to thirty individuals, ruled over by a matriarchal "Alpha". The females are the highest ranking in the group, followed by males, then children. Female Spotted Gnoll are notable for their size, aggression, and endurance in battle. Their only inherent magical power is the ability to heal themselves in battle, although some Spotted Gnoll shamans have the ability to see premonitions and control weather to a limited degree. It's worth noting that female Spotted Gnoll have a pseudophallus that can be used much in the same manner as the male's penis, used to assert dominance over others. Their culture is violent, heirartical, and unpleasant for those who study them.

Striped Gnoll are less common than their spotted cousins, and slightly smaller, only a little larger than a standard human on average. Identified by their silver-gray fur with striking black spots and long
, smooth mane down the head and back, they are
harder to find than Spotted Gnoll, living either alone or with a mate or two. Unlike Spotted Gnoll, Striped Gnoll are magically powerful, able to influence creatures and weather to their will. Their shamanic powers extend towards asking spirits for help and healing others, as well as themselves. They are typically very even-tempered and some are quite well-educated. Striped Gnoll are becoming more and more common as city dwellers or students in schools of magic. Striped Gnoll often also excel in shapeshifting magics.

Brown Gnoll are roughly the same size as the typical human, with thick, long and shaggy brown fur, gray or tawny faces, and striped limbs, they certainly are an awkward sort of creature. They live in small clans of five to ten individuals, led by a male alpha who won the right to lead the clan in battle. They are not as magically adept as Striped Gnoll but share the Spotted Gnoll's affinity for healing and premonitions. Because of their rarity, Brown Gnoll are rarely seen or studied, and Spotted Gnoll are aggressive towards Brown Gnoll to a genocidal degree, for unknown reasons.

Aardgnoll were considered by many to be either a joke, a myth, or long extinct until recently, when a clan of Aardgnoll were observed hunting. Their dwellings are hard to find, as they will scatter themselves over a large plot of territory, keeping to mated
pairs and children to a single burrow. They are considered to be low in
intelligence, as they have not been observed building complex shelters, weapons, fire, or clothes. A territory of Aardgnolls often carries fifteen to twenty individuals, spread out over a square kilometer, who will all either hunt or forage in groups, and independently depending upon the situation. They are easily set apart from other Gnolls by their size, only the height of a typical dwarf or gnome, with yellowish to gray striped coats and large, kittenish ears. Some Aardgnoll show a magical proefficiency specifically in the art of healing others.

Anyways, Gnolls are pretty hip, and they are considered to be related to a group of Beastmen known as Bultungin who transform into hyena.
Now, as far as Beastmen go, a
ll Beastmen carry four traits.

They are humanoid in base, most often Human or Elf, although it is argued that this has less to do with actual numbers, but simply because Human and Elves are far more common than any other Humanoid.

They are capable of taking on at least three different, distinct forms. These are known as Humanoid, Beast, and Monster for short.

They all have a proefficiency at some sort of magic.

And finally, all Beastmen are capable of having both beastmen and humanoid children.

Humanoid is their base form, where they appear as a normal humanoid. In beast form, they are entirely an animal. And in Monster form, they are often some combination of both, and an enhancement upon each. Werewolves in Monster form are much larger than a human or a wolf is,
not to mention faster and stronger. Kitsune in Monster form are beautiful and often times wreathed in flames.
As far as magic goes, basic elemental magic is the most common, and they are often linked to a single part of the magical world. I'm till working on Magical Alignments, but all magic falls into categories, as seen below.

Life/Creation, Death/Destruction = Energy Spectrum - Used to determine the sort of energy in magic, all magic contains this power. Magic can be used to create, or destroy, or both.
Sun, Moon, Stars = Stellar Triad - Linked to otherworldly abilities, such as healing, psychic powers, precognition, and physical force. Also, undeath is linked to these.
Body, Mind, Soul, Heart, Aether, = The Self - Otherwise known as *the* pentagram in magic, these five elements are the elements of a magic user themselves. Soul, Heart, and Aether are sometimes presented as their own triad.
Fire, Earth, Water, Air = Basic Elementals - What it says on the tin.
Metal, Plant, Energy, Weather = Combined Elementals -Combinations of basic elementals lead to these, but Fire and Wate don't mix, magic-wise.
Chaos = Fey magic. Volatile, unpredictable, immensely powerful. Avoid it.
Void, Drain, Entropy = The Nonmagics are the most powerful of them all. The Void destroys matter. The Drain destroys magic. Entropy destroys life. So on, so forth. These magics are forbidden by almost all. The damage done by this magic is irreversible, permanently scarring reality itself.

The Taxonomy of Fantasy Species

Here's the third dreamwriting idea. It's a little longer because I've discussed it with some people already.
The idea was that, in this fantasy world, there were...groups of creatures. A shown here

Humanoids are your standard fantasy PC races. They aren't magical by nature, but can learn to use magic with training and practice. They're common, widespread, and intelligent. Technically, they fall into the category of "Mundane Creatures" with other normal wildlife
Humans
Elves
Dwarves
Gnomes
Orcs

Beastmen are close to Humanoids, and can interbreed with them readily. These are groups of shapeshifters, who often times have a small amount of magical prowess. They can do little specific things, like heal, or manipulate fire. Anything more still times time and learning.
Werewolves
Catfolk
Kitsune

Mythics are relatively common, magically-powered creatures. The more powerful sentient ones are capable of breeding with Humanoids and Beastmen to a limited degree via magic, although their children are always almost completely humanoid or beastmen. They're pro efficient at shape-shifting into humanoid forms to interact. They come in a few basic groups.

Group I are the most common, and often times less magically powerful. They have four limbs, just like mundane creatures.
Harpies/Siryns
Minotaurs
Satyrs
Cyclops
Giant
Goblin
Lizardmen

Group II are uncommon, and quite powerful magically. Many of these creatures are nonsentient wildlife, and some are very intelligent magical beings.
Dragons
Griffons
Pegasus
Hippogryf

Group III are not rare, but hard to find, as they keep their civilizations well-hidden. They are all incapable of breeding with humanoids, being oviparous, and tend to be very secretive.
Naga
Merfolk

Fey are sort of an outlier, as the feyfolk are formed out of pure magic and energy. It's hard to say what they really are, as they come in seemingly endless varieties and are often hard to contact or have a decent conversation with.
Fairies/Pixies
Neirids/Nixies
Sidhe

The Undead are a whole different class altogether.
Ghosts
Zombies
Flesh Golems
Necromancers
Lich

Generally, in the fantasy world, no groups would really get along. Humanoids don't like magical creatures hanging around too much. Mythics tend to be combative and agressive. The Undead are artificially created. Fey just mess everything up.

But the dream was about, as far as I recall, a Dragon woman who had fallen in love with a human prince that had been sent to kill her (Humans hunt dragons for sport, still. Dragons find it inconvenient, but have no real social workings) and he fell back in love with her as well but was betrothed to this princess and blah blah blah you should be able to see where this story was going. It also involved a flying castle, haha. :D

Well, that was some inane rambling.

Dream Writings

I tend to have very interesting, chaotic dreams, but often times they give me some good ideas for brief little story concepts and whatnot. So, here I will share three brief little dream-derived writing ideas. These are free to use if you want. I mean, I'll probably never get around to them. Tell me if you do use them, though!

EDIT: I forgot the third one! I'l touch on it later, since it's longer.

Gods

The Gods are a trinity, three beings of the ocean deep. They have determined who enters the ocean and lives, when the fish come, and when the people will go into drought and hunger for centuries.
The first is a man, with the body and head of a sperm whale. He is judging and cruel and demands constant appeasement, and is endlessly hungry. He is massive, towering hundreds of feet tall, and he carries with him a fishing pole big enough to hook basking sharks, a net big enough to capture a city, and a hook on a pole thingy you see fishermen use, massive as well.
The second is a beast, aggressive and short-tempered, a four-headed mixture of shark, lobster, seal, and dolphin. It is covered with black and blue mottled plates of chitinous armor, ruffs of dark fur, silver scales, and dozen of legs and fins of all different species. It's tail is long and eel-like, prehensile, and between all it's heads rest it's true mouth, and octopus' beak.
The third is the most passive, yet the most dangerous. It resembles a sea urchin, made up of branching spines, with long flattened tentacles like kelp, and bony armored plates covered in coral and shelled creatures. It rarely moves and never reveals it's horrible mouth, a bottomless chasm of teeth and tongues, except to eat.

Noir Angel

An angel, newly formed and naive, ventures to earth to discover the fate of another angel who shed her wings to willingly become mortal. There, she discovers a never-ending battle between the forces of good and evil and all things in between that common mortals are unaware of. As she searches for her friend, she doesn't realize the corruption that the mortal world brings upon her until, giving up, she finds that she can no longer enter heaven. With her time running short before she truly becomes mortal, and her power growing limited, she becomes further and further disenchanted, especially after encounters with an old fallen god-spirit with waning powers (Native American?), a collection of vampires who yearn to take her blood to become more powerful, and a smattering of demons who have been enjoying themselves on earth.
Her and a demon who is slowly and unwillingly becoming mortal out of punishment for something or other meet and start to rely on each other for antagonistic survival.
It'd totally end with them falling in love, and with the power of LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE she regains the full use of her abilities and there's probably some epic fight scene where she brings down the wrath of god and then is like "Fuck heaven, I will be a mortal, they need me more" and blah blah blah happy ending.

Squiddie Sketches

God damn, I love drawing Squiddies. I'd say nsfw but I mean...you can't really see anything. Complete with a little poem. And unfinished, but you can sort of see some of her chiten there.

Interspecies sports just don't work. Nobody wants to play against a squiddie.

A close-up of a squiddies face. All those plates are the jointed covers of their mandibles, over the actual mouth. A "Squiddie Grin" is simply the natural alignment of the mandibles at rest, meaning that squiddie are constantly mimicking a human smile, or so it seems.

Mind you, when the mandibles are open, it's goddamn horrifying. The entire lower half of the face splits apart and the coiled tongues are unleashed. OM NOM NOM HRARRRGHLEBARGLE

You don't want to hear about squiddie genitalia. it takes forever to explain and is too complex and too squicky.

The very first drawings of a squiddie, made like...a year and a half ago. You can see where the design's changed and become less "I'm a tentacle alien" and more "KHSSSSTENTACLE EXTRATERRESTRIAL" over time. The face's have changed a lot. Also sorta basically shows the armor.

This is a Hishnar. They're technologically adept, sentient, and found everywhere that can sustain life and some places that don't. Descended from nomadic herd-animals that were descended from tree-dwelling packs of small hummingbird-like creatures, they're quite an interesting species. Standing a good several feet over human average, they have slim, jawless, anteater-like heads, strong raptorlike bodies and legs with powerful arms and four-fingered (two fingers, two thumbs symmetrically) hands, and long, heavy tails that are fanned at the ends.
Their entire body is covered with a coat of pale, downy fur of various texture and thickness depending upon individuals. While females have relatively smooth feathers with short, stiff 'ruffs' along their ears, arms, and legs, males have much longer, more elaborate 'ruffs' that, in mating season, can grow into dazzling, colorful displays of long, stiff feathers. Males often retain other colored patterns through the rest of the year, but only have full, dazzling coloration at the height of mating season. Various color morphs of the species as a whole exist, making them a varied, visually stunning species that can display every color and then some.
Despite their large, strong bodies and sharp claws, they're completely herbivorous liquivores and are very friendly and fiercely loyal by their herd-animal nature.
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I enjoy sketching and scribbling and designing things- especially creatures -and generally I'm too ADD to finish anything fully.

I also enjoy writing short stories and descriptions, as well as creepypasta and little ideas that pop into my head. I hope this blog actually amounts to something for those who read it, in the meanwhile.

I have a lovely daughter, Ophelia, a fiance, Christopher, a brother, Blake, and a wonderful mom and dad.

I'm nineteen and live in Wisconsin, at home, with my family. I'm looking into going back to school this summer for a bit, and perhaps improving my job and finances.

That's about all you need to know about me. Have fun.

Introduction
